An MRI scan of the hip, knee and ankle is performed prior to the manufacturing company building individual personalised guide moulds.
Then a Patient Specific Knee Replacement is performed ensuring a more accurate implant positioning.

I have performed 65 Total Hip Replacements using this approach.
Most of the patients had less pain and felt more confident during the early recovery period of the rehabilitation. It is too early to demonstrate any long term advantages over my standard mini-posterior minimally invasive surgical technique.
